Adelle A. Funke

Adelle Anita Funke "Bubba", age 88 of L'Anse passed away on Friday March 12, 2004 at Bayside Village in L'Anse, where she had been a resident since 2001.
She was born July 6, 1915 in Mass City, Michigan daughter to Saima (Pasonen) Carr Mattson and August Carr. Adelle was employed at Winkler Nursing Home as a nurse's aide for 18 plus years.
Her two granddaughters, Lisa Taylor Tolonen of L'Anse and her two sons Jonathon and Greggory, and Heidi Taylor of Green Bay, WI, and a niece Phyllis Jacobson Waissanen of Traverse City survive Adelle.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Funke; her daughter Gretchen Taylor; sister Dorothy Jacobson; brother Frances Mattson.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 13 at 3:00 p.m. at the Jacobson Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Fr. Greg Heikkala will officiate. Burial will be in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery in the spring. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
