Alan Keith Rajacic Sr
January 19, 1947 — July 21, 2009
Alan Keith Rajacic Sr., age 62 of L'Anse, MI passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born January 19, 1947 in Deerborn, Michigan son of the late George and Virginia (Drinkert) Rajacic. Alan grew up in the Detroit area and moved to L'Anse in 1983. He worked for Tribal Construction for 10 years, then with security for KBIC, a car dealer for Range Auto and Thomas Ford in L'Anse, Quincy Hill Auto in Hancock and Dakota Auto Sales in Baraga, and was also a self employed carpenter.
Alan was "free spirited"; he was a member of the Arvon Outlaws. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry, crafts, and visits to the casino.
Surviving are his sons Barry Rajacic of Cadillac, MI, Robert (Olivia) Rajacic of Baraga, Alan Rajacic of Elo, Travis Rajacic of Baraga; daughters Kimberly (George) McKiddie of Florida, Nannie Beck of Tennessee; brothers Donald (Laura) Rajacic of Portland, OR, Rod Rajacic of Marquette; sister Paulette Rajacic of Flagstaff, AZ; 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews..
There will be no visitation. There will be a memorial service held at the L'Anse VFW on Thursday, July 30th in the evening. The Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse is assisting the family.
