Albert F. Clemet, Sr

Albert F. Clement Sr., age 87 of L'Anse passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2001 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital skilled nurse unit.
He was born June 14, 1914, a son to the late Noah and Parmelia (Morin) Clement. Albert married the former Bertha Holm on September 13, 1933 in L'Anse. He worked for Ford in L'Anse and Pequaming for 15 years. They moved to Libertyville, IL, in 1952, where he worked for Anchor Coupling Co. Inc., as a machinist. Albert retired in 1974 and moved back to L'Anse. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Albert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved nature.
Albert is survived by three sons, Albert "Bud" (Elsa) Clement of L'Anse, Gary (Ruth) Clement of Libertyville, IL, Joseph (Susie) Clement of Johnson City, TN; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Bertha on January 4, 1992, sons Claude, Ray, and Roger Clement, and a sister Bernadette Stahl.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Fr. Greg Heikkala will officiate. Burial will be in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home of L'Anse is assisting the family.
