Alta M. Koski, age 62 of Aura, MI passed away suddenly on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 15, 1952 in Rockford, IL daughter to Nellie Pond Reed. Alta grew up in Rockford, IL. She married Dennis Koski on October 19, 1996 in Gleason, WI. They raised Shih-Tzu puppies. She enjoyed her puppies, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are her husband Dennis Koski of Aura; mother Nellie Reed of Merrill, WI; son Raymond Lee (Marcie) Harris of Hawesville, Kentucky; brother Victor (Debbie) Jewell of Gleason, WI; sister Charlotte (Frank) Gitchell of Rockford, IL; three grandchildren, Angel, Christopher, and Heather.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 14th from 1-2:00 PM at Jacobson Funeral Home. The Funeral was at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Judy Mattson officiating. A luncheon and fellowship followed in The Sharing Room at the funeral home. Burial will be on May 21st at 1 PM in the Aura Cemetery.
