Andrew James Mercure

Andrew James Mercure, age 29 of Baraga, MI passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his home. He was born January 22, 1987 in Ishpeming, MI son of Dale Mercure and Ann Ashton. Andrew graduated from L’Anse High School in 2010. He worked at Erickson’s Saw Mill then Erickson’s Lumber Co as a Diesel Mechanic. He loved to fish, hunt, work on vehicles, snow mobiles, and motorcycles. Surviving are his father Dale Mercure of Skandia, MI; mother Ann Ashton of Las Cruces, New Mexico; daughters, Phoenix Bertucci of Ishpeming, Abi Mercure of Menominee, MI, Allison Mercure of Baraga; fiancé Jamie Dove of L'Anse; brothers, Dale Mercure Jr of Albany, NY, Tim Mercure of Skandia, and Ben Mercure of Las Cruces, New Mexico. The family will be having a private Celebration of Andrew’s Life. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
