Aurelia Bergstrom

Aurelia Bergstrom, age 77, of Novi, MI passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010.
She was born January 7, 1933 in Aura, MI daughter to Toivo and Helen (Ahonen) Holso. Aurelia attended elementary school in Aura, MI and graduated from L'Anse High School in 1951. She married Melvin Bergstrom in 1954 in Detroit.
Aurelia worked for Detrex Corp. in Detroit and was also secretary for the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Farmington Hills, MI. After retirement she spent the summers in Aura.
Surviving are her sons Gordon (Teresa) Bergstrom of Commerce Twp., MI and Michael (Ann) Bergstrom of Highland, MI; grandchildren Kristopher (Tomara), Rebekah (Christopher), Brittani (Steven), Daniel and Kristen; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Kaylee and Dustin.
Preceding her in dearth are her parents, husband Melvin Bergstrom, and brother Stanley Holso.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 11th at 2:00 pm at the Mission United Lutheran Church in Pelkie. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev. John Autio will officiate. Burial will be in the Pelkie Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home of L'Anse is assisting the family.
