Betty V (Fultz) Patterson

Betty V. Patterson, age 90 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Shulstad’s Leisure Living.

She was born May 6, 1928 in Ecorse, MI daughter to William and Rose Fultz. Betty graduated from Highland Park High School in 1946. She married Edward Patterson on October 28, 1947 in Detroit. Betty worked for the US Postal Service for over 30 years, retiring as Post Master in Ontonagon. She enjoyed bowling, reading, crossword puzzles, and watching mysteries and drama shows.

Surviving are her daughter Sheryl Bullock of L’Anse; granddaughter Kristy (Martin) Toth of Painesdale, MI; and great grandchildren, Heather, Joseph, and Kaitlyn.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Edward Patterson; companion H. Wendell Oliver; son David Patterson; son-in-law Edward Bullock.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 27th at 6:00 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Bishop officiating. Visitation will be from 5-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial was in the Pequaming Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
