Carl Robert Krueger

Carl Robert Krueger, age 75 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his daughter’s home with his family by his side.

He was born January 18, 1943 in Merrill, WI son of Walter and Irene (Voigt) Krueger. Carl was raised in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1962. He moved to L’Anse in 1967 where he owned and operated Carl Krueger Trucking and CK Transport; retiring in 2012.

Carl enjoyed NASCAR, going to Logging Congress, being at camp, plowing snow, mowing grass, and gardening. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and loved watching his grandson play hockey and football.

He was a member of United Lutheran Church and the L’Anse Lions Club.

Surviving are his daughters, Robin Krueger of Appleton, WI, Kerri (Mike) Koskinen of L’Anse and their children, Paige (Brandon), Allison (Joe), Kellen; his significant other of 33 years, Jane Elmblad and her children, Joel Elmblad, Tim Elmblad, Kim (Bob) Lawson and their children James (Ann), Jess, Jill; sister, Ellen (Les) Schneck of Wakefield, MI and their son Josh; brother-in-law Scott (Diane) Dillon; and numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 2nd from 12-1:00 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John Ansell officiating.
