Carolyn Jean Hall

Carolyn Jean Hall, age 80 of L'Anse, Michigan, passed away on Monday, November 25th, 2024 at her home.

She was born October 1, 1944 in Midland, MI daughter of George and Patricia (Leonard) Horning. Carolyn earned an Associates Degree in marketing, secretarial, and management. She worked in a police department, as a city clerk, a marketing representative, and taught college classes. She moved from Colorado to L'Anse about 5 years ago, and worked at Michigan Works.

Surviving are her children, Debra Rodriguez, Denise (John) Davis, Deanna Kelley, Scott Merritt; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; her sister Coralie Cieslinzki and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents George and Patricia; and siblings Alonzo Horning, Patricia Cooper, Nancy Banulis, and Pam Degere.

Per her request there will be no funeral service. Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
