Catherine "Kay" Johnson

Catherine "Kay" Johnson, 79, of Aura, went to be with the Lord, March 12, 2006, after her long fight with cancer. She passed away at her daughter's home in South Carolina, surrounded by her loving children.
Catherine will always be remembered for her contagious laughter with her sparkling blue eyes.
She was an avid nature watcher and loved to feed the birds and deer. She had an eye for beauty and was an artist which loved to paint nature scenes in oil paint. Her hobbies also included playing cards, listening to music and bowling. She will always be remembered and missed dearly.
As per her wishes, a memorial service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church in Skanee with Pastor Judy Mattson officiating. Interment will be in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to all friends and relatives who lent their support.
