Clarence Geroux, Jr., 85, of Baraga, MI, passed quietly Monday afternoon, May 14, 2007 while with his 4 sons.
He was born March 7, 1922, in Gwinn, a son of the late Clarence and Ida (Badger) Geroux, Sr. He was raised in the Gwinn area and attended Gwinn Schools.
Clarence was a well known local logger. He loved to watch and feed his birds.
He is survived by his sons, Richard (Cheryl) Geroux, Bruce (Janet) Geroux, George (Mary) Geroux and Greg (Barb) Geroux, all of Baraga; daughter-in-law, Sharon Geroux of Harrison, MI; son-in-law, Roger Miron of Baraga and their families; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Harriet (Madosh) Geroux, son, William "Butch" Geroux and daughter, Judy Miron.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 11 a.m. in St. Ann's Catholic Church in Baraga with Rev. Augustin George officiating. Interment will be in the Baraga Cemetery.
