Clark G. Autio, age 52 of Covington passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Bayside Village in L'Anse.
Clark was born August 7, 1953 in Ishpeming, MI son of Verner and Ruth (Mattson) Autio. He graduated from L'Anse High School in 1971 then went on to Michigan Tech where he graduated as a Mechanical Engineer. Clark worked in Milwaukee prior to becoming ill at which time he moved back to Covington. Clark resided at Bayside Village for the past year.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Hill of Covington; brother Ordean Autio of Kersey, CO; nephew Shawn Autio of Iron River, MI; aunt Irene (Robert) Godell of Covington, MI.
Preceding him in death is his father Verner Autio; step father Uno Hill; and sister Nancy Autio.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Covington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev. Mark Reinsch will officiate. Burial will be in the Covington Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse is assisting the family.
