Dawn Elizabeth Lorendo

Dawn Elizabeth Lorendo, age 59 of Zeba, Michigan passed away on Saturday, May 25th, 2024at U.P. Health System, Marquette, MI.

She was born April 26, 1965 in L'Anse, MI daughter of Frederick and Gwenneth (Emery) Gauthier. Dawn graduated from L'Anse High School and later received an Associates Degree from Ojibwa Community College. On December 31, 2019 she married Jason Lorendo in Zeba, MI.

Dawn was a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. She worked as a manager at the KBIC Food Commodities for several years. Dawn enjoyed playing Keno, shooting pool, beading and playing cards. Spending time with her family meant the world to her.

Surviving are her husband Jason Lorendo of Zeba; father Frederick Gauthier of L'Anse; children, Heather Gauthier of Ohio, Travis Gauthier of Ohio, Hannah Misegan from Ann Arbor; brother Charles (Serene) Gauthier of L'anse; sister Nicole (Wayne) Gauthier of Zeba; grandchildren, Aleeha, Destin, Liam, Anthony, Alan; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her mother Gwenneth Loonsfoot; son Charles Ray Gauthier; and brother Daniel Gauthier.

Per her request, a private family service will be held. Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
