Dianne Marie Sirard

Dianne Marie Sirard, age 80, of Baraga, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Optalis Health & Rehabilitation of Kingsford, Michigan.

She was born on April 21, 1944, in Baraga, the daughter of Richard and Elma (Koskinen) Mayo. Dianne graduated from Baraga High School in 1962 and went on to attend secretarial school. She later worked at the L'Anse Commercial National Bank.

Dianne was a proud member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community and a devoted member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Paul Sirard of Clarkston, MI; daughter, Jane (Mark) Christensen of Greensboro, Georgia; brothers, Pat (Judy) Mayo and Paul (Karen) Mayo, both of Baraga; grandchildren, Zander, Beckett, and Aven Christensen, and Braden Sirard; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Elma Mayo; brothers, Richard, Gerald, James, and John Mayo; and sister, Marie Mayo.

A burial service will be held in the Baraga Cemetery in the spring. Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
