Donald E. Anttonen

Donald E. Anttonen, age 59 of L'Anse passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at his home.
He was born October 25, 1943 in Chassell, MI son of the late Elmer and Helvi (Maki) Anttonen. Donald grew up in Arnheim, and served in the US Army from 1967-69 during Vietnam. He was a life member of DAV. Donald worked as a welder for VanStratton's as well as various other companies and farmed in Arnheim. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Donald is survived by his special niece Sherry Belkola of Arnheim; cousin Walter Kinnunen of Arnheim; sister Elsie (Charlie) Tirrell of Missouri; brother-in-law Severi Haataja of Arnheim; friend Roberta Lambert of L'Anse; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 9 from 11-1:00 p.m., and the funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Jacobson Funeral Home. Rev. Ted Koehl will officiate. Burial will be in the Askel Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse is assisting the family.
