Donald G. Cooper, age 83 of Aura passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2004 at Bayside Village.
He was born February 5, 1921 in Wyandotte, MI son of the late George and Margaret (Smith) Cooper. Donald was a veteran of WWII.
Surviving are his wife, Lois of Aura; two daughters, Carol Jean (Roger) Jordan of Aura; Christine (Gregory) Boyda of Frankfort, IL; two sisters, Lyda Ostoin of Wyandotte, Eva May (Glen) Burgess of Jackson, MI; three grandchildren, Christy Jordan of Aura, Gabriel Boyda of Scottsdale, AZ, Rachel Boyda of Frankfort, IL; four great grandchildren; and many friends at Bayside Village who gave him special care in which the family is grateful for.
Preceding him in death is his sister Mary Ross.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 18 at 1:00 PM at Jacobson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The son-in-law Gregory Boyda will conduct the services. Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse is assisting the family.
