Donna J. Heikkila

Donna J. Heikkila, 67, of Longwood, FL died on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at her home.
Donna was born in Annapolis, MD, on Feb. 14, 1942, the daughter of Alan and Ethel (Meade) Paul. She married Darwin Heikkila on July 12, 1958. Donna graduated from Baraga High School in 1977.
She was employed as a marketing manager for Sears Home Improvements in Longwood, FL and retired in 2008. She had a love of genealogy, traveling, and gardening.
Surviving are a son, Donald of Menasha, WI; daughters, Debra of Longwood, FL and Diane Velmer of L'Anse; grandsons, Michael of Sanford, FL and Derrick Velmer of L'Anse. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sister.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010 at 7 p.m. with visitation from 5-7 at the Jacobson Funeral Home, L'Anse, with Pastor John Henry officiating. Spring burial will be in the Elo Cemetery.
