Donna Mae Reynolds

Donna Mae (Jurmu) Reynolds, age 60 of L'Anse, MI and Waterford, MI passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 suddenly at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on May 4, 1953 in Highland Park, MI daughter to Paul and Martha (Kemppainen) Jurmu. Donna graduated from Berkley High School in 1971. She was married to Thomas Bergstrom for 18 years; then later married Mark Reynolds in 1996 and they resided in Waterford, MI. Donna worked for 20 years as a telephone technician for EDS and Ameritech. During the past year she resided in L'Anse to be closer to her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband Mark Reynolds of Waterford, MI; son Curt Bergstrom of L'Anse; daughter Ann Bergstrom (Patrick Stanton) of Royal Oak, MI; two grandchildren, Bryton and Silas Bergstrom; brothers, Paul (Joan) Jurmu of Baraga and John Jurmu of L'Anse; sisters, Ruth Orr of Salt Lake City, UT, Anne (Doug) Morin of South Range, mi, Debbie Sarris of Wolverine Lake, MI, Becky Jurmu of Ferndale, MI, Maratha (Brendan) O'Brien of DeWitt, MI; mother-in-law, Betty Winston of Bloomfield Hills, MI; brother-in-laws, Michael (Cathy) Reynolds of Grand Blanc, MI, James (Joanne) Reynolds of Waterford, MI; and sister-in-law Joanne Reynolds of Bloomfield Hills, MI. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Tim and Mark Jurmu.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21st at 12:00 p.m. at the Beverly Hills United Methodist Church, 20000 W. 13 Mile Rd, Beverly Hills, MI; following the service a luncheon and fellowship will be held at the church at 1:00 p.m. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
