Dorothy E. Miilu

Dorothy E. Miilu, age 81 of Pequaming passed away on Tuesday November 28, 2006 at Bayside Village in L'Anse.
She was born April 18, 1925 in Pequaming daughter of the late Carl and Helen (Andersen) Ahlsen. Dorothy graduated from L'Anse High School in 1943. She married Leo Miilu on December 16, 1944 in Pequaming. Dorothy worked for over 30 years at Fraki's Market in L'Anse as an Assistant Manager. She was an auxiliary member of the VFW Post 3897 and the American Legion Post 144.
Preceding her in death is her husband Leo on December 18, 2001.
Surviving are her brothers Merle Ahlsen and Charles (Sharon) Ahlsen both of L'Anse, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the Pequaming Cemetery. Rev. Scott William will officiate. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
