Edward Joseph Bullock

Edward Joseph “Barney” Bullock, age 72 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette, MI.
He was born October 27, 1943 in Detroit, MI son of Joseph and Catherine (Bryant) Bullock. Barney graduated from St. Vincent’s High School in Detroit. He served in the US Navy from 1962-64. On March 4, 1971 he married the former Sheryl Patterson in Warren, MI. He worked for Upper Peninsula Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union Local 111 for 25 years.
He enjoyed shooting pool, socializing, playing computer games, watching history channel and classic movies.
Surviving are his wife Sheryl of L’Anse; daughters Kristy (Martin) Toth of L’Anse, Dawn Erica Campbell of Livonia; mother-in-law Betty Patterson of L’Anse; brother Johnny Bullock of Fenton, MI; sisters, Catherine (Frank) Gomes of Kingston, WA, Karol Urban of Livonia, MI; grandchildren, Heather, Joseph, Kaitlyn and Adelle.
Preceding him in death are his parents and sister Frances Jean Bullock.
Burial will take place in Pequaming Cemetery on Tuesday, October 11th at 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 11:00 a.m.at Jacobson Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Rev. Gerald Bishop will officiate. The Baraga County area veterans will conduct military rites under the direction of American Legion Post 444. The Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
