Edward Ray Lee, age 90 of L'Anse, MI passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital with his loving family at his side.
Eddie was born March 21, 1923 in Superior, WI; the son of Oscar and Olga (Dorsky) Lee. He graduated from L'Anse High School in 1941 and attended MSU for Agriculture. A veteran of the US Navy, Ed participated in 11 Battles in the South Pacific during WWII while serving on the U.S.S. Colorado. Eddie married the former Dorothy 'Dot' Theriault in 1945. Always active, Ed loved everything from dancing to picking berries; and especially spending time with his grandchildren who adored him. Eddie will truly be missed by those who knew him.
