Edward Provost

Edward Provost, age 82, of Sidnaw, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility.
He was born May 12, 1919 in Camden, NJ son of Henry and Ida (Demster) Provost. Edward grew up in Trout Creek, Sidnaw area. He married the former Beatrice Miller in June 1957 in Lansing, MI. He worked at Motor Wheel then as a parking lot manager, both in Lansing. They moved back to Sidnaw in 1994.
Edward is survived by a brother, Joseph (Kathryne) Provost of Sidnaw, a sister Evelyn (Joe) Beauprey of Sidnaw, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Beatrice on Feb. 1, 1998, a brother Milton Provost, and a sister Elizabeth Norback.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, at 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Sidnaw Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home of L'Anse is assisting the family.
