Elizabeth Bellaire

Elizabeth Rosemund (Jarvey) Bellaire, 75, of Baraga, died Monday afternoon, May 8, 2006, at her home, following a long fight with cancer.
She was born February 3, 1931, in L'Anse, a daughter of Charles and Delia (Martell) Jarvey and was a 1949 L'Anse High School graduate.
Elizabeth married Richard Jerome Bellaire on February 14, 1953.
In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by 8 children, Joe Bellaire of Baraga, Margaret (Luis) Bonilla of Salinas, CA, Donna (Hondo) Avalos of Baraga, Ray (Roxann) Bellaire of Baraga, Patricia (Dave) Delisle of L'Anse, Charles (Sharon) Bellaire of Peyton, CO, Cheryl (Jerry) Armstrong of Salinas, CA and Norma (John) Domitrovich of Baraga; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a borther, Carol Jarvey of Escanaba; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Lawrence; and 4 brothers, Bud, Howard, Joe and Dave Jarvey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2006 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in St. Ann's Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon with Rev. George Maki officiating. Interment will be in the Baraga Cemetery.
