Evelyn Harriet DeLisle, age 91 of L'Anse, MI passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 12, 1922 in Sheboygan, WI daughter to Garret John and Johanna (Meinen) VerVelde. Evelyn married Raymond DeLisle. .
She enjoyed puzzles, solitaire, watching her soaps and game shows. Evelyn loved her family and her cat Leo.
She is survived by her sons, Richard (Sue) DeLisle of Wautoma, WI, Michael (Joan) DeLisle of Murfreesboro, TN, David (Patricia) DeLisle of L'Anse, Edward (Tammy) DeLisle of Baraga; daughters, Evelyn (Gene) Moses of Sheboygan Falls, WI, Judy (Marty) Ketola of Highland Village, TX, Ann DeLisle of Sheboygan Falls, WI, Ellen (Bobby) Atkinson of Liberty, TX; a sister Delores (William) Pieper of Sheboygan Falls, WI; 23 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents and husband Raymond.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jacobson Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Deacon John Cadeau will officiate. Burial will be in the Baraga Cemetery.
