Francis Scott Gauthier
January 14, 1956 — February 5, 2009
Scott Gauthier, age 53 of Concord, NH, formerly of L'Anse, MI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at his father's home.
Scott was born January 14, 1956 in Marquette, MI son of Andrew and Shirley (Kantola) Gauthier. He graduated from L'Anse High School in 1974. Scott has been living in New Hampshire for the past 22 years where he has been working as a carrier for Lab Corp. He loved music and played in a band, Planet Hypno. Scott also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and playing horseshoes.
Surviving are his father Andrew Gauthier of L'Anse; brother Michael (Patricia) Gauthier of Baraga; sister Andrea (Tom) Deschaine of L'Anse; several nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, and dear friends and co-workers in New Hampshire.
Preceding him in death is his mother Shirley.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 11th at Sacred Heart Church in L'Anse at 11:00 a.m. for both Francis Scott Gauthier and his father Andrew Gauthier who died Monday, February 9th. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Fr. Augustin George will officiate. The Jacobson Funeral Home of L'Anse is assisting the family.
