Frank E. Roth, 75, of Skanee, died Wednesday afternoon at Marquette General Hospital. Frank was born April 24, 1929, in Wittenberg, Wisconsin, a son of the late John & Charlotte (Harke) Roth.
He was employed for many years as a logger and sawyer. Frank attended Zion Lutheran Church in Skanee and in his spare time enjoyed hunting and playing cards.
He is survived by a sister, Arlene (Clarence) Patterson of Skanee; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends. His parents and siblings, John Jr., Raymond, Fred, Mildred, Francis, Caroline, Ardell and Angeline preceded him in death.
A funeral service for Frank will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2004 in the Zion Lutheran Church in Skanee at 11 a.m. with Rev. Judy Mattson officiating. Visitation will be held in the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in the Skanee Cemetery.
Clint VanBuren, Mike Vizina, Lee Roth, Tommy Rogers, Mike Roth and Walter Roth served as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
