Gerald E. Marshall

Gerald E. Marshall, age 73 of Skanee, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2002 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 7, 1928 in Warren, MI, son of Ernest and Pearl (Barnett) Marshall. Gerald grew up in Warren and graduated from Lincoln High School. He was in the US Army, during the Korean Conflict. He married the former Jane Faith Collins in 1953 in Warren, MI. Gerald worked for RC Mahon Co. for about 20 years, then moved to Skanee and worked for Celotex, retiring in 1988.
Gerald is survived by a son, Roger (Donna) Marshall of Skanee; mother, Pearl Marshall of Skanee; two brothers, Glenn (Goldie) Marshall of Skanee, Ray Marshall of New Haven, MI; three grandchildren, Jesse, Daniel, and Randy Marshall.
He is preceded in death by his wife Jane in 1987, father Ernest, and brother Leroy.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 12, at 6:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Skanee. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Judy Mattson will officiate. Burial will be in the Skanee Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home of L'Anse is assisting the family.
