Glenn W. Wilson
March 27, 1944 — December 30, 2003
Glenn W. Wilson age 59 of Escondido, California and former Baraga resident passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Baraga on March 27, 1944 to Annie L. (Hudson) and Frank Wilson (Wilkinson). He attended Baraga Schools where he participated in many activities including football, basketball and track. He graduated in 1962. Glenn later attended Ferris State University where he played football and earned a Bachelors Degree in Business. His pastimes were watching all sports and spending time with his friends. After leaving Michigan, he lived in California for the past 30 years.
He married the former Rosemary Hendrickson in Big Rapids, MI. They later divorced. Glenn and Rosemary had two daughters, Rhonda and Dana.
His father Frank precedes him in death.
Surviving family members include his mother Annie Wilson of Baraga; daughters Rhonda (Darren) Sanders of Mesa, AZ, Dana (Kyle) Keefe of Denver, CO; brother Jim (Sue) Wilson of Baraga; aunts June Connor of Milwaukee, WI and Bobby Jean Goodwin of San Diego, CA; nieces Jennifer and Christine; nephew Timothy of Baraga.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Baraga Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse is assisting the family.
