Hazel M. Cunningham

Hazel Mae Cunningham, age 93, of L'Anse, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2002 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, skilled nurse unit.
She was born September 10, 1908 in Harda C.P. India and came to the United States in 1922. She was employed as a bookkeeper for most of her life in Bloomingdale and Gobles, MI. She had resided in Baraga County with Bob and Maureen Wahmhoff since 1981, until going into the skilled nurse unit in 1985.
Hazel is survived by two nieces and her dear friends Bob and Maureen Wahmhoff.
She is preceded in death by her parents David and Jennie (Runser) Cunningham and a sister Hilda Purkhiser.
At her request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held in her honor on January 18, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at Victory Christian Assembly Church in Baraga. The Jacobson Funeral Home of L'Anse is in charge of arrangements.
