Idsa H. Rehn

Ida H. Rehn, age 84, of Cherry Creek Village, Harvey former Skanee resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Marquette General Hospital.
She was born on March 1, 1917 in Skanee, daughter of the late Hjalmer and Esther (Lundberg) Johnson. Ida attended school in Skanee. She married Delore Rehn on September 4, 1937 in L'Anse and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1970. Mrs. Rehn worked as a nurses aide at the Baraga County Memorial Hospital in L'Anse retiring in 1978. She moved to Pontiac in 1978, living there until 1992 when she moved to Cherry Creek Village in Harvey
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Delore, sister Harriet Peterson
She is survived by two sons Donald (Jerry) Rehn of Goliad, TX, Curt (Dorothy "Dee Dee") Rehn of Gwinn, two sisters LaVerne "Joy" (Tom) Clemons of Pontiac, Donna Kaltz of Lower Michigan, six grandchildren Karin, Craig, Cindy, Steve, Susan Rehn, Elizabeth Garrison, four great grandchildren Camile, Karrisa, Katelyn & Kacee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2001 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Skanee with pastor Judy Mattson to officiate. Inurnment will be in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery.
The Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse is in charge of the arrangements.
