J. E. Brown

J. E. Brown, 79, of Sidnaw passed away at Marquette General Hospital on Monday, September 17, 2001.

Mr. Brown was born on December 21, 1921 in Brown City, MI to John and Edith (Willard) Brown. Mr. Brown attended schools in Brown City then entered the U.S. Navy during World War II. On August 17, 1940, he married Donna Justin in Lapeer, Michigan. Mr. Brown worked as a dispatcher for Standard Building in Detroit. In 1969 they moved from Troy, MI to Sidnaw where they made there home since.

Mr. Brown is a Life Member of the Covington VFW.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Donna, a son, Jay E. Brown of Rochester Hills, MI, three daughters, Ruth Ann (Tom) Pankey of Rochester Hills, MI, Helen (Richard) Lystila of Troy, MI and Georgette (Paul) Brownell of Watersmeet, MI, one brother, Max Brown of Sidnaw, two sisters, Bernice Jeffers of Harbor Beach, MI and Ruth (Dick) Braden of Lexington, MI, 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tom and Don Brown and two sisters, Beatrice and Genevieve.

At the request of Mr. Brown there will be no visitation or services.
