Jacob Richard Dixon

Jacob R. Dixon, 19, a resident of Ripley passed away suddenly Monday evening May 17, 2021, at home.

He was born on February 10, 2002, in Nisula, a son of Evan and Stephanie (Todd) Dixon. Jacob was raised in Nisula, Chassell and Hancock before making his home in Ripley. Jacob attended the Elm River School, Barkell Elementary School, the Houghton Schools and the Discovery Center. While in school Jacob was very active with the Houghton Robotics Team and the Copper Country Coders. Surviving are his mother Stephanie Dixon of Ripley; father Evan Dixon of Houghton; sister & brothers, Melissa Neal of Ishpeming, Anwar Dixon of Houghton, Ryan Dixon of Ripley; maternal grandmother, Audrey (Tim) Viola of Chassell; maternal grandfather Richard Todd of Florida; paternal grandmother Catherine Dixon of Detroit, MI; godfather David Bezotte of Houghton; numerous aunts, uncle & cousins.

Funeral services for Jacob will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at S.S. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church of Houghton with Rev. Aaron Gehrke to officiate. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. Burial will be in the Nisula Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, from 11:00 am until the time of services at S.S. Peter & Paul Lutheran Church of Houghton. Jacobson Funeral Home of L'Anse is assisting the family with the arrangements.
