James Alan Kuru

James Alan Kuru, age 67 of Covington, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024at Rolling Meadows in Covington.

He was born October 18, 1956 in Hancock, MI son of Kenneth and Dorothy (Seppala) Kuru. James graduated from Jeffers High School in 1975. He worked at Kirkish Furniture for over 45 years, retired in 2021.

Surviving are his brother Doug (Janet) Kuru of Houghton, MI; sisters, Glenda Julio of South Range, MI, Darline Kuru of Laurium, MI, Barbara (John) Snobl of Bagley, MN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceding him in death are his parents Kenneth and Dorothy; brothers David and Richard.

Graveside services will be held in the Liminga Cemetery in Stanton Twp, MI. Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
