James Robert Theriault, age 86 of L'Anse, MI passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at his home.
He was born May 22, 1927 in L'Anse to Edward and Leona (Archambeau) Theriault. James was married to Violet (Tervonen) for 65 years.
Surviving are his wife Violet of L'Anse; son Charles (Gina) Theriault of Gaylord, MI; daughter Nancy (Larry) Oger of Alston, MI; grandchildren, Brian (Amber) Theriault, Julie (Sean) Timperley, Amy (Keith) Howe, Tim (Becky) Oger, Rick (Cassie) Oger, David (Michelle) Oger, Jamie (Sarah) Oger, Diane (Ben) Roy, Katie (Matt) Sterbenz; 24 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death are his parents; sister Dorothy Lee, and nephew David Lee.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 6th from 10-12:30 p.m. at the Jacobson Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church with Fr. Corey Litzner officiating. Burial will be in the spring in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
