James Robert Watchorn

James Robert Watchorn, Jr. age 56 of Baraga, MI passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 3, 1960 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI son of James and Alice (Carlson) Watchorn Sr. James graduated from Sault High in 1979 and then attended Ferris State University. He worked in Cincinnati, OH as a car salesman. In 2013 he became disabled and moved to Baraga.
James loved sports; he played hockey at Ferris and later coached Junior B Hockey. He also played football and baseball and coached. He was an avid Red Wing fan.
Surviving are his mother Alice Watchorn of Baraga; son Jacob Watchorn of Kalamazoo, MI; daughter Katie Marie (Edoardo) Sarda of Turin, Italy; siblings, Brenda Watchorn of Baraga, Tim Watchorn of Battle Creek, MI, Ronald Watchorn of Baraga, Cindy (Mick) Pieri of Baraga; nephew Michael Watchorn and niece Alison Shores.
Preceding him in death is his father James Watchorn Sr.
Per his request there will be no funeral service. The Jacobson Funeral Home in L’Anse is assisting the family.
