Jeanette Mae Stevens

Jeanette "Gally" Mae Stevens, 64, of Baraga, died Monday morning, March 27, 2006, at her home, following a battle with cancer.
She was born July 21, 1941, in Beartown, Michigan, a daughter of the late Joseph and Pearl (Nadeau) Loonsfoot.
Jeanette is survived by 2 daughters, Robin Gauthier of Baraga and Vicki Szymanski of Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Dylan, Brandon and Darian "Honna" DeCota; special friend, Tom Paquin, Sr. of Baraga; siblings, Charles "Chuck" (Molly) Loonsfoot, Sr. of Baraga, Joan "Bubbles" (LeRoy) Gauthier of Baraga, Eugene "Cowboy" (Katie) Loonsfoot, Sr. of Baraga and Bernard "Beaver" (Marie) Loonsfoot, Sr. of Chicago, IL; step-children, Beatrice Stevens of Wisconsin and Mark Stevens of Chicago; and special grandchildren, Tom "Buddy" Jr., Tahala "Sunshine", David, Joseph "Diggy" and Janelle "Nell" Paquin. Besides her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick Stevens; infant son, Eugene Gauthier; siblings, Donna Mae "sister" Kinnunen, Joseph "Sonny" Loonsfoot, Sr. and Anthony "Tony Bags" Loonsfoot.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at 11 a.m. in Most Holy Name of Jesus Church at Assinins, MI with Rev. Augustine George officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service in the church.
