Jeromy Gene Norman, 40, of Baraga, formerly of Crawfordsville, Indiana, died Saturday morning, July 2, 2005, at his home.
He was born July 29, 1964, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, a son of Larry Tyhurst and Sharon Jones.
Jeromy had worked as a construction laborer in Crawfordsville, IN prior to moving to Baraga County where he had been a resident for the past 6 months. He had been employed with Terex Handlers in Baraga for the last month.
On January 27, 2005 he married the former Valerie Carpenter in L'Anse.
Jeromy attended Bethel United Pentecostal Church and was a NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie Norman of Baraga, mother, Sharon Mekis of Colorado Springs, CO; adopted siblings, Louanne Harmon, Elsie Norman and Greg Norman, all of Waveland, IN; numerous biological brothers and sisters in Colorado; 4 step-children, Shannon Barnes of Crawfordsville, IN, Timmothy Allen Petersen of L'Anse, Arin and Terry Riggs of South Bend, IN; 3 step-grandchildren, AJ, Ethan and Bubbie Neal; and several friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2005 at 4 pm in the Jacobson Funeral Home.
