John Lee Wojciechowski, age 71 of Skanee, MI passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 15, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI son of Chester and Esther (Nowak) Wojciechowski. John graduated from Boys Tech High School in Milwaukee. John married the former Bonnie Schiebel on August 19, 1970 and they resided in Milwaukee. He was a Lead Engineer at the Performing Arts Center, now the Marcus Center, in Milwaukee for 50 years. Upon retiring in 2012 he and his wife moved to Skanee.
John enjoyed fishing, gardening, listening to 97.7 the wolf and an avid Gunsmoke fan.
Surviving are his wife Bonnie of Skanee; daughter Michelle (Ron) Johnson of Chandler, AZ; son Michael (Jennifer) Wojciechowski of East Troy, WI; 5 grandchildren; twin brother Jim (Jackie) Wojciechowski of Greenfield, WI; brother-in-law Theodore Schiebel of Olympia, Washington; sisters-in-law, Anna Drexler of Skanee, Alice (Les) Remer of West Allis, WI.
Preceding him in death are his parents; daughter Marie Lynn Wojciechowski; brothers, Jerry and Tommy Wojciechowski.
In accordance with his wishes the family will conduct a private service. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
