Joseph Robert Kondro

Joseph R. Kondro, age 52 of Walla Walla, WA passed away on May 3, 2012 in Washington.
He was born May 19, 1959 in Marquette, MI son of Dominic and Elizabeth (Curtis) Durant; and was adopted by John and Elanor Kondro. Joseph grew up in Iron River, MI and later moved to Washington where he was a mill worker. He was a member of the KBIC.
Surviving are his children, Wendy Kondro, Courtney Kondro, April Kondro, Jani West-Kondro, Julien West, and Rose Beth Anderson all of Washington; brothers Dominic Durant Jr. and Clifford Durant Sr. both of Zeba; sisters Martha Johnson of Florence, WI and Mary Kaye Durant of Baraga; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 7th at 6:00 p.m. in the Ceremonial Room at the Ojibwa Senior Center in Baraga. Burial will be in the Indian Pinery Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
