Judith Marie Testen

Judith Marie Testen, age 83 of L'Anse, Michigan passed away on Friday, December 20th, 2024 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.

She was born October 9th, 1941 in L'Anse, MI daughter of Edwin and Martha (Autio) Miilu. Judy graduated from L'Anse High School in 1959. On June 4, 1966 she married Edward Testen at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Judy was an avid Michigan Sports Fan including Tigers, Lions, Pistons, Red Wings, Michigan State and Michigan. She enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles, and watching sports.

Judy was a member of United Lutheran Church in L'Anse and Baragaland Senior Citizens.

Surviving are her-half brother Ronald Miilu of Mass City, MI; nieces and nephews, Carol (Erik) Mattox, Linda Taipalus, Mary (John) Wagner, Kay (Bill) Tislar, and Jim Miilu.

Preceding her in death are her parents Edwin and Martha; husband Edward Testen; sister Joyce Taipalus and brother-in-law Edward Taipalus; sister-in-law Cassie Miilu; and nephew Alan Taipalus.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home with Rev. Julie Belew officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the spring in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery.
