Judy Mangrum

Judy Mangrum, age 68, from Skanee, passed away on Friday, February 2, at her home.
She was born April 12, 1932 in L'Anse. She graduated from L'Anse High School in 1950. Judy married Burrell Mangrum in Detroit, in 1953. They lived in Detroit and St. Louis until moving to Skanee in 1996. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Skanee and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
She is survived by her two children, Rodney (Virginia Lopez) Mangrum of Chicago, Cindy Mangrum of Lansing, MI, her mother Elizabeth Marcotte of Skanee, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her father George Alto, and her husband Burrell on Feb. 29, 1996.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2001 at Jacobson Funeral Home. Visition will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Judy Mattson will officiate. The Jacobson Funeral Home of L'Anse is assisting the family.
