Karen Sue Funk

Karen S. Funk, age 69 of Covington, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025 at Rolling Meadows in Covington.

She was born July 3, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois daughter of John and Donna (Race) Funk. Karen graduated High School and then earned a degree as a combat medic from the U.S. Air Force. Karen served in the U. S. Air Force from 1969-71 during Vietnam. She married Philip Hurley on October 21, 1990.

Karen enjoyed fishing, reading, the outdoors and being with her husband.

Surviving are her husband, Philip Hurley of Covington; brother Kirk Funk, sister Lisa Riemer.

Preceding her in death are her parents John and Donna Funk.

A celebration of Karen's life will be held in the future. Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
