Kristi Ann Magnant, age 22 of DePere, WI died unexpectedly on Friday, January 08, 2010 at her home.
She was born December 16, 1987 in San Antonio, Texas, daughter to Thomas and Leona (Marinich) Magnant. Kristi grew up in DePere, WI and graduated from DePere High School in 2006. She moved to Mesa, AZ where she received a degree in Sound Engineering from the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Science. After receiving her degree she moved back to DePere, WI and was currently working for Fastenal Inc and Answer Services Inc both in Ashwaubenon, WI.
Kristi was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in DePere and Zion Lutheran Church in Skanee, MI. She enjoyed music and her greatest gift was her daughter Karistina Rae Magnant who was born March 30, 2009.
Surviving are her parents Thomas and Leona Magnant of DePere, WI and Skanee, MI; daughter Karistina Rae of DePere; brothers Jesse Brunner and Tommy Le Magnant both of DePere; paternal grandmother Janet Magnant of L'Anse; maternal grandmother Irma Marinich of Skanee; special friend Jake; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceded in death are her paternal grandfather Lawrence Magnant; maternal grandfather Raymond Marinich; great grandparents Marvin and Irma Lindahl, Fritz Rantanen, Jack and Dee Magnant, Meimi and Laura Kilpela, and George and Anna Marinich.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14th from 6-8:00 PM at the Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse and on Friday, January 15th from 10-11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Skanee. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church. Pastor Judy Mattson will officiate. Burial will be in the spring in the Skanee Cemetery.
A memorial service will also be held on Saturday, January 16th at the Hope Lutheran Church in DePere, WI at 5:00 PM.
