Lois Marie Cooper, age 87 of Aura, MI passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Bayside Village with her family by her side.A
She was born on August 8, 1926, daughter of Vernis and Christine "Mabel" (Schnau) Brayman. Lois graduated from Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, MI in1944. She married Donald G. Cooper in 1945. Lois worked as a switch board operator for Michigan Bell for several years.A
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Rebecca's in Wyandotte, MI.A
Surviving are her daughters, Carol Jean (Roger) Jordan of Aura, MI, Christine (Gregory) Boyda of Care Creek, AZ; 3 grandchildren, Christy (Don) Lantz of Aura, Gabriel (Krissy) Boyda of Plainfield, IL, Rachel (Michael) Iniguez of Kansas City, MO; and 10 grandchildren.A
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Donald; brothers, Vernis Brayman and Jerry Brayman.A
A memorial gathering and fellowship will be held on Saturday, June 14th from 3-4 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home. A
