Marian Genevieve Stebbins

Marian G. Stebbins, age 91, of Sidnaw, MI died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 16, 1918 in Oconto Falls, WI daughter to Charles and Evelyn (DeHut) Longrie. Marian grew up in Sidnaw and attended school there. She Married Marvin Stebbins in 1938 in Sidnaw.
Marian enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her sons Marvin (Eileen) Stebbins of Gladstone, MI, Bernard and Tommy Stebbins of Sidnaw; daughter Peggy Ann Stebbins of Sidnaw; brother Willard Longrie of Covington; sister Patricia (Arnold) Townsend of North Carolina; 14 grandchildren, Debbie, Robin, Tina, Craig, Kevin, Jason, Heather, Teresa, Carmon, Troy, Gina Lee, Becky, Gus, and Aaron; and 12 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Marvin Stebbins in 1999; son Douglas Stebbins; brothers Bob, Orville, and Charles Longrie; sisters Helen Jones and Arlene Shelley; and one grandson.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 12th at 2:00 pm at the Jacobson Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Fr. John Longbucco will officiate. Burial will be in Sidnaw Cemetery in the spring. The Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse is assisting the family.
