Max Brown

Max E. Brown, 81, of Sidnaw, died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at the Mather Nursing Center in Ishpeming.
He was born January 28, 1924 in Brown City, MI son of the late John and Edith (Willard) Brown. Max was in the US Army during WWII. He married the former Pauline Argotoff on November 22, 1975 in Warren, MI. They resided in Rochester, moving to Sidnaw in 1989.
Surviving are his children, Linda (Ruben) Ortiz of Mesa, AR, and Patricia (Steven) Matthews of Macomb, MI; sister Ruth (Dick) Braden of Lexington, MI; five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
His wife Pauline, and sister Bernice Jeffers precedes him in death.
Max requested that there be no visitation or funeral services.
The Jacobson Funeral Home in L'Anse is assisting the family.
