Mayme Clara Cladas
April 24, 1918 — March 21, 2006
Mayme Clara Cladas, 87, of Baraga, died Tuesday afternoon, March 21, 2006, at Bayside Village Nursing Home in L'Anse.
She was born April 24, 1918, in Pontiac, Michigan, a daughter of the late Frank and Yetta (Holder) Guenther. Mayme had been a resident of Pontiac for most of her life, having moved to Baraga County in 1989 and had been here since. On November 17, 1951 she married Louis Cladas and he preceded her in death in 1990.
She is survived by her children, James Hudson of Beaverton, MI, Roy Hudson of Ortonville, MI, Sandra Beeman of Bellbrook, OH, Darrel Cladas of Alston, MI, Dorothy Cladas of Salida, CO and David Cladas of Baraga; grandchildren, Jimmy, Patrick and Michael Hudson, Cheryl Cladas, Grant Beeman, Llowell Williams, Karen Cladas, John Cladas, Emily Beeman, Phoenix and Hayden Williams; and a brother John Guenther of Port Charlotte, FL. She was also preceded in death by a son Dennis Cladas and siblings, Bill Guenther, Ira Guenther and Dorothy Sage.
There will be no services at this time. A graveside service will be held in the Baraga Cemetery in the spring.
