Nancy M. Cline

Nancy M. Cline, 61, of Baraga, died Thursday morning, January 25, 2007, at Bayside Village in L'Anse.
She was born June 6, 1945, in Elo, MI, a daughter of the late John and Lempi (Kuopus) Byykkonen and had been a lifelong area resident. On October 12, 1973 she married Benjamin S. Cline and he preceded her in death on May 30, 1992.
Nancy was employed for several years at Karvakko's Store in Tapiola. She was a member of the Otter Lake Sportsman's Club. Nancy enjoyed crocheting, trips to the casino and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Lisa (Jason Messer) Byykkonen of Baraga, Lynn (Joe) LaFernier of Keweenaw Bay and Lori (Rodney) Tervo of Keweenaw Bay; grandchildren, Tom & Brandi Denomie, Brittney Heikkinen, Tara LaFernier, Taylor and Jessica Tervo; brothers, Howard of Baraga, Art (Irene) of Hancock, Wesley (Ann) of Hancock and Harold (Donna) Byykkonen of Chassell; sisters, Florence Ketola of Baraga, Ruth (Bob) Maki of Superior Location, Esther Bohto of Chassell, Alma (Glen) Eilola of Pelkie and Sally (Gary) Johnson of EuClaire, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Edward and Bob Byykkonen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Jacobson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. John Autio officiating. Interment will be in the Elo Cemetery in the spring.
