Norma Christine Brown, age 89 passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Shulstad Leisure Living in Baraga.

Norma worked first at Langdon's Jewelry in L'Anse and than owned and operated, with her husband Virg, The Nite Owl restaurant, from 1950-1975, where Norma is still remembered for her excellent chili, hamburgers and homemade pies. She then worked at the L'Anse Pharmacy until her retirement. Norma and Virg socialized with the square dancers in the late 60's and 70's. She loved to bake, cook, travel, shop and being with her grandchildren and all of her family and many friends and acquaintances. She will be remembered for her fine, lovely, sweetness and gracious manner. Norma was the kind of person you could sit with, never say a word and than walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

Norma is now in the Garden Of Paradise... which she had prepared herself for, through her strong beliefs, that she was one with the Lord. She was a member of the L'Anse Baptist Church, and a former member of the L'Anse Ladies Golf League.
