Norman John Lyttinen, age 48 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at his home.
He was born March 6, 1966 in Hancock, MI son of James Gary and Judith Doris (Hall) Lyttinen. He graduated from Houghton High School in 1984 and then attended Northern Michigan University. He moved to Flint, MI where he worked as a machinist. In 2012 he moved to L’Anse and was working at Johnson & Berry Manufacturing. He loved rock & roll music and going camping at Lake Gerald.
Surviving are his father J. Gary Lyttinen of Tapiola; son Trenton Lyttinen of Davison, MI; brother Glen Lyttinen of Tapiola; sister Lisa (Charles) Jukkala of Tapiola; nieces and nephews, Cale (Becky) Lyttinen, Derek (Brooke) Jukkala, and Krista Jukkala.
He is preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation was on Sunday, July 27th from 12-2 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m.at Jacobson Funeral Home with Rev. John Autio officiating. In the fall of 2014 a memorial services will be held in Davison, MI. The Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
